"I injured myself 2 years ago and have been seeking help ever since, so when I first met Chris I had already been through a couple of trainers and physiotherapists. At first I was a little surprised by Chris' approach, we did a lot of talking about health, diet, my injury and about how I felt. We didn't start my strengthening exercises until I was eating properly so that my body would respond appropriately.

I had no idea how important it was to eat well, it made a huge difference to my attitude, my weight, my mood, my general health and my life! In no time after that I was getting stronger by the day, Chris was `there for me' all the way. With other trainers I spent one hour once a week but Chris emails or calls me regularly to encourage me through the week.

"When I met Chris I had lower back pain, a `dodgy' knee and had just recovered from a fractured foot. I'd put on weight after two babies and was having trouble losing my `mummy tummy'.

Chris gave me a personalised programme that focused on correcting my posture through strengthening and stretching specific muscles, including my core. We also discussed diet and I've made a few changes. I now eat a big breakfast, I'm more conscious of the grains I eat and try to eat less and drink more water.

After two months at gym, three times a week, the results have been amazing. I feel stronger, taller, my back pain has gone. I look and feel more toned and my tummy is on the way out. I look like I have lost weight, my clothes fit better and people are noticing. It turns out I've lost 4.8% body fat. "I have been training with both Nicky and more recently Chris from `Glow Fitness', for the past year. I recommend them to anyone who will listen, as their sessions are always diverse (I don't think I have ever done the same exercise twice), they push you to your capacity, and always have an interest in your total health. I can't big-them-up enough. I have been doing both group sessions and personal training sessions and they have a cunning knack of rigorously exerting one part of your body, and then while that part is recovering they are maxing-out another part.
